About Us

Aquatic Kidz Swim School is locally owned and operated. It is a private swim school with a purpose-built pool designed specifically for teaching babies and young children to swim.

  • The pool is heated to 32oC and is enclosed to ensure an optimum learning environment all year round.
  • Our swimmers have the luxury of not having the loud noise and distractions usually associated with public pools.
  • Change rooms are heated throughout the winter months.
  • Classes are offered for all ages and all abilities from Monday to Saturday.
  • All lessons have only three pupils per class, regardless of the age group to ensure the individual learning needs of each child is consistently met.
  • Lessons are paid for on a monthly basis and free make-up swim lessons are available.

Bookings are taken at any time throughout the year and block lessons are available throughout school holidays.

Our Mission

Our mission is to prevent the tragic and heartbreaking loss of precious little lives to accidental drowning.

Drowning is preventable however it is still the number one cause of accidental death in children under the age of five in Australia. For every drowning there are many more near drownings, leaving children with permanent brain damage.

It is our commitment and passion to instill in all our swimmers a lifetime love and respect of the water as we teach their survival and swimming skills.

Learning to swim well is truly one of life’s most precious gifts. It may be the gift that saves your child’s life and it also opens up a world of opportunity for children to participate and enjoy a variety of water sports.

Our Philosophy

Survival is first and foremost if we are to prevent accidental drowning in children.

We specialize in teaching safety and survival skills to infants, toddlers and young children as we teach them to swim.

These life-saving skills are taught in a nurturing environment with lots of TLC and positive reinforcement. It’s our belief that we must fully respect the child if we are to gain their trust, encourage them to learn, and to gain their respect in return.

If you are an experienced, mature, caring teacher who can relate to children and have the ability to deliver lessons with enthusiasm, passion and pride, we would love to hear from you.

You must be reliable and committed to providing the highest quality swim lessons.  In addition you must be experienced in teaching a range of levels and ages, and be competent in teaching all strokes.
